Right. Just what we want. The lobby of every elementary school should be full of people standing around with their fingers on the triggers of their guns.
and I do NOT understand why people keep saying that somehow, this would deter these types of shooters. They invariably kill themselves. Why in the world would they be deterred by the probability of being met with return fire? They want to die that day, they expect to die that day.

YES! and yes again....except he would have folded like the coward he was. And what if 3 kids had been killed in the insuing gunfight? Way better than 26 slaughtered with no resistance. Evil loves high body counts because it instills fear in the weaklings that buy into it. Beware, evil is an actual deathforce. I see it in the dead stare of a million adults and in the murder of infants and children.
That coward killed himself the minute he heard police coming. WHY? because he was a coward. Otherwise he would have gone down in a hail of lead. The cowards way is suicide

CC, you don't have to leave these United States for proof of that. I normally do not buy into the propaganda of the "right wing whackadoodle" Victoria Jackson types, but as they say, "Sometimes you get shown the light in the strangest of places."
